Fox News Contributes To Delay Legal Fund

Well...not really...but...

Fox News Paid for DeLay's TravelRep. Tom DeLay (R-TX) "filed a report with the Clerk of the House of Representatives indicating he received free travel valued at $13,998.55 from Fox News Sunday for 'officially connected travel' on October 1-2, 2005, from Sugarland, TX to Washington, D.C. and back to Sugarland, TX. Rep. DeLay appeared on Fox News Sunday on October 2, 2005, the weekend after his indictment on September 28, 2005."
Bush Losing His Way?

"Ron Fournier writes for the Associated Press: "The building blocks of President Bush's career -- his credibility and image as a strong and competent leader -- have been severely undercut by self-inflicted wounds, leading close allies to fret about his presidency. They say he's lost his way."

One cannot LOSE their way when they were lost to begin with. So, this is what it's like when they realize the emperor has no clothes. Funny or sad?

Brit Hume dismisses Bush's low numbers because not enough Republicans were asked. Hell, Brit, people are beginning to be embarrassed to be called a Republican.
Their Desperation Is Comforting

John Gibson says we won, we can come home now.

They are so done with defending Bush, that they can't even fake it anymore. John Gibson is on the frontline of what I believe the new strategy for the right will be regarding the war in Iraq: We won! That's right, Saddam is in jail so....MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

The rationale of course is that Saddam would still be in power if we hadn't acted. I say, so what? 2000+ soldiers would be alive. 12,000+ wouldn't be wounded. Possibly up to 100,000 civilians would be alive. We would have an extra $200 Billion to spend on the Gulf Coast and Florida. Al Queda wouldn't be in Iraq. Recruiting for Al Queda would be down, instead of up. Iran wouldn't have a foothold in Iraq. And, our military wouldn't be ruined.

Yeah...we win.
