Yes, and it's a canard. Our welfare roles were significantly reduced during the 90's and the ONLY reason they continue at their current pace is because of outsourcing and low wage jobs.
While total employment has recovered, average hourly wages have gone DOWN. Furthermore, the cost of healthcare has crushed ANY tax breaks to the lower 90% and eaten any waqe increases in the last 3 years.
So, let me get this straight, you want me to NOT judge Neal based on HIS statements...over time, but you see no problem with passing judgment on Rolanda based on Neal's INTERPRETATION of a news report? Gotcha.
Funny, I don't hear Neal bitching farm subsidies and tax breaks for energy companies reaping record profits. You know, corporate welfare that costs taxpayers way more than social welfare with even less benefit.
Let them eat cake.
